ProjectMoonWalk is an in-classroom simulation of the Apollo moon landings, featuring multi-user interaction and realistically-depicted lunar landscapes described in custom term papers.

2007

It was a major step to be accepted into the Fortune Cat Game Studio in Winnipeg, as it meant funding (still being used well this far into 2008).

Offices downtown at Fortune Cat saw a lot of Development in mid-2007. We are opening a new game lab in the techology incubator at the University of Manitoba in 2 weeks. Khal was a speaker at NASA and has traveled around the continent in support of Serious Games

2006

October 31, EricViolago? and KhalShariff spent the weekend with some amazing folks and the Banff New Media Institute! We workshopped every aspect of the business plan and produced a first draft as well as an elevator pitch.

June 3 Update: Hooray!

"

Thanks to everyone of you who has been encouraging me. This is very exciting. I am blogging the experience for IPL and the Canadian Film Institute in Toronto. This will set the project into a higher orbit. Expect an announcement on that soon.
